Pottery Courses at Aavya Pottery & Art Studio
Spend more time with clay, take more sill, confidence and peices back home
4-Day Pottery Courses
A Strong Foundation

Explore the 4-Day Course
This course is where most people begin and where many discover how grounding pottery can be.
Over four guided sessions, you’ll learn the basics of hand-building, create simple functional forms, and understand how clay behaves during drying. You’ll also get your first taste of independent studio time.
You’ll take back:
A few finished or ready-to-fire pieces — and a clear understanding of the pottery process.
Includes:
4 guided sessions (90 min each), spread over 4–7 days
Hand-building basics, functional forms & finishing
Drying awareness
1 free open studio session
Course Fee
₹5,000
(Firing not included — see kiln policy)
7-Day Pottery Courses
Everything from the 4-day plus control, confidence, and repetition
Explore the 7-Day Course
The 7-day course builds directly on the 4-day foundation, giving you time to repeat, correct, and refine your work. This is where pottery starts feeling intentional rather than experimental.
You’ll expand into wheel basics, work with multiple forms, and develop a better sense of balance, proportion, and drying — which means fewer surprises and stronger outcomes.
You’ll take back:
More finished pieces, better consistency, and noticeably improved control.
Includes:
Everything from the 4-day course
Hand-building + wheel basics
Multiple forms & shapes
Improved balance, proportion & drying awareness
2 free open studio sessions
Course Fee
₹8,000
(Firing not included — see kiln policy)
21-Day Pottery Courses
Everything from 4 + 7 days and then pottery becomes a daily practice
Explore the 21-Day Course
The 21-day course is full immersion. By now, skills move from thinking to muscle memory. You’ll spend enough time in the studio to work independently, explore surfaces, and create a small but meaningful personal body of work.
This course is less about “learning techniques” and more about living the studio rhythm — planning work, understanding firing cycles, and trusting your hands.
You’ll take back:
A coherent set of pieces, studio confidence, and a deep relationship with clay.
Includes:
Everything from the 4-day and 7-day courses
Advanced hand-building, wheel & surface work
Drying & firing awareness
Independent practice & personal body of work
5 free open studio sessions
Course Fee
₹24,000
(Firing not included — see kiln policy)
